Fontaines

In a series of paintings depicting monumental fountains, familiar urban symbols of prosperity and leisure are transformed into an engineering of pain. Instead of water, a thick red pours from the cascades, turning architectural forms into bleeding bodies. This imagery reflects the condition of war, where peaceful infrastructure and everyday rhythms of life are struck by trauma, and the cycles of time become locked in a perpetual experience of loss and ruptures.
